Ziona Strelitz

Ziona Strelitz is Founder Director of ZZA Responsive User Environments, a research and strategy practice focused on people’s experience of buildings and public realm. Her extensive record of Pre-and Post Occupancy User Research deploys the distinctive approach she has forged in Design Anthropology. Ziona’s work at the intersection of space, evolving technology, and the changing modes of how we live, learn, work and play identifies positive opportunities to enhance user experience. The marks – UX:SPACE® / UX:WORKPLACE® / UX:CAMPUS® – convey the diverse sectors, typologies, locations and spatial scales of ZZA’s work.

Sharing evidence and insights on new and adapted buildings and spaces that succeed, Ziona is highly experienced as a presenter, lecturer, awards judge, and member of numerous public panels. Her published work includes: ‘Buildings that Feel Good’, ‘Energy People Place: Sustainable Urban Paradigm’, ‘How Is It For You? Building Design as Experienced by Users and Makers’, and ‘Wellbeing and Social Health in the Built Environment’. She is an active member of the University Design Forum.
