John Ridgett

John is Design Director and Higher Education sector lead for AtkinsRéalis in London. John has a wide range of experience in designing and delivering complex HE projects. For John’s work on the John Henry Brookes Building, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Technology from Oxford Brookes University. In 2015 John served as RIBA South Awards Jury Chair and in 2021 John became a certified PassivHaus Designer. With Paul Conway of Architecture PLB and Claire Jackson of Galliford Try John co-authored the University Design Forum research paper on student accommodation, the latest edition of which was published earlier this year.
