Christopher Spiteri

Christopher Spiteri is an Architect and Civil Engineer by profession and specialised in Construction Project Management. He currently holds the position of Director of Estates, Facilities and Capital Development at the University of Malta and has been responsible for Capital Projects at the University of Malta since 1992, later on taking responsibility for Estates and Facilities Management. Throughout these years he oversaw an extensive expansion of the University’s main campus as well as having administered a number of refurbishment and rehabilitation projects both on the main campus as well as in other smaller campuses managed by the University of Malta. Throughout his career, he also was the Chairman and a member of two Malta national rehabilitation committees that were tasked with the rehabilitation and restoration of important historic cities in Malta.
