Smarter campuses - engaging the community towards a more sustainable university

Campus NL is a four-year initiative (2023–2027) involving 14 Dutch universities, aimed at addressing contemporary challenges in campus management through shared knowledge and research. Part A of Campus NL is dedicated to the systematic collection and analysis of campus-related data—both existing and planned- in order to develop a comprehensive database. This presentation will highlight key findings from the utilisation studies on campus workspaces and educational spaces, examining their implications on individual decisions about campus attendance, as well as on the scheduling of meetings and educational activities. Decision makers in practice will reflect upon the value of the results.
