The Data-Driven Campus in Action

20 Oct 2026
EUEC Stage

This panel discussion explores how European universities are moving from measuring campus performance to acting on it. Estates and facilities leaders share how connecting and unifying campus data is changing daily decisions on energy efficiency, operations, and space use — and the steps needed to get there.

The conversation looks at where universities are seeing measurable results: reducing energy costs, achieving financial savings, supporting overstretched facilities teams, and improving comfort and safety for students and staff. Speakers will also explore how estates, IT, sustainability, and finance teams are building a shared data foundation.

Panelists share practical examples of using campus intelligence — alongside data analytics and tools such as AI — to make faster, better-informed decisions on space use, predictive maintenance, and energy performance. The session gives estates leaders a grounded, peer-led view of where campus operations stand today and where they are heading: toward a campus that is resilient, efficient, and inspiring.
